Having A Positive Mindset

January & February is hard for many people. Those grey days can bring you down and it can sometimes feel like the bad stuff life throws at you happens exclusively during this time of year. Despite all this, we’re always hearing about how important it is to maintain a positive attitude, even when it’s hard to do so. The question becomes how to maintain a positive attitude, even when the world feels like it’s falling down around you.

First of all… Why is a positive attitude SO important? We hear about it all the time, with people telling us to “Be More Positive”, but what is it about that optimistic attitude that is actually beneficial to us? Well, the obvious one is that being more positive feels better. When you’re feeling positive, the world around us seems to be a whole lot easier to manage and we feel like we can take on anything. An Attitude Of Gratitude

thank youFrom an early age our parents teach us to say “Thank you”, but having an attitude of gratitude is more than just saying “Thank you”.

As a child I sometimes said “Thank you”, out of fear of not being, or sounding polite. This was coming from a place of fear which is not healthy. When you are truly thankful you come from a place of kindness and gratitude, and you connect to the vibration of love. Continue reading

Love and accept yourself!


Self love is at the very core of your wellbeing and it influences your ability to create and enjoy the kind of life you want but I’m not talking about egotistical love.

The relationship with yourself is the most important one you’ll ever have but if you are not at peace with yourself, you cannot enjoy real happiness.
We all experience an inner dialogue and we would be shocked if we heard a recording of this. We would see just how many times a day we criticize or judge ourselves. This constant inner mind chatter can be very damaging and often sabotages our efforts to move towards happiness.
